The Alpha Course
Alpha is an opportunity for anyone to explore the Christian faith in a relaxed setting over ten thought-provoking weekly sessions, with a day or weekend away. The Alpha course is designed primarily for people who aren't churchgoers and each course is open to everyone who would like to attend.

Most courses attract a diverse range of guests of different ages and backgrounds, holding many different viewpoints. Over 7,000 courses are currently running across the UK in rural and urban settings, including every major UK city.

Guests attend for a wide variety of reasons - some want to investigate whether God exists; others are concerned about what happens after death. Some people have particular questions that they would like to discuss; others want to understand other peoples' beliefs or would like to explore what the purpose of life is. Many guests have never been to church, others may have attended church occasionally but feel they have never really understood the basics of the Christian faith. Alpha provides a safe place for real questions to be explored.

The Marriage Course
The Marriage Course is for any couple who wants to invest in their relationship, whether you have been together 1 or 61 years and whether you have a strong relationship or are struggling.

A seven session course set in a fantastic atmosphere. You will be served with a drink as you arrive, and will receive a dessert and further refreshments at table for two while listening to practical talks that are informative and fun, played on DVD.

Each couple’s privacy is respected as there is no group discussion and no requirement to disclose anything about your relationship to anyone else. The course, while based on Christian principles, is very helpful for any couple with or without a Christian faith or church background.

Getting Connected
Getting Connected is our own short course which helps you to learn more about TWCF. Over three sessions (either be three evenings or a Saturday) you will be introduced to others who are from the church as we look together at our vision, values, leadership, beliefs and at how we can connect together into the church.

All our leaders and most of the church have completed Getting Connected and we encourage all who are new to the church to take the opportunity to undertake the course.
