Going: Kids, Youth and Local community

Local community

We live with the conviction that God loves all people, and we love working across the community to serve, love and share with people.

Little Stars Parent & Toddler Group – South Site

Little Stars South is held for parents, carers and pre-school children on Tuesdays during term time from 10.00 to 12.00am at our South Site.

This group provides an ideal space for the children with activities and space for children to ‘let off steam’ with a range of age appropriate toys and activities. Every week there is a story time or a time of singing with the children including songs with a simple faith basis.

Our aim is to provide a welcoming, safe and supportive environment for adults to relax whilst meeting new people and for children to play and make new friends.

During the session there is plenty of tea, coffee and there is also a snack time for the children.

All our team are Christians, and as they are keen to support children and parents and carers they also include a simple prayer as part of the sessions and are available to pray with people should they request this.

To book into a session, or to find out more, please get in touch with us here.

Youth Group

We are currently meeting during our main church service on Sunday mornings with one special event each month.

If you are in school years 7-13, you are welcome to come and join us, we look forward to seeing you soon. If you’d like to find out more, please contact us through the contact page here.

CAP Courses: Life Skills

Life Skills is a friendly group that gives people the confidence and decision making skills they need to survive life on a low income. Over 8 weeks we teach people practical money saving techniques, such as cooking on a budget, living healthily on less, and making your money go further.

Everyone finds dealing with the pressures of life a stressful and lonely challenging at times. That’s why CAP Life Skills is designed to be a fun and relaxed place where you’ll meet other people in similar situations, who understand you and can encourage you. To contact us about our next CAP Life Skills course, please email: helenbrewis@caplifeskills.org  More details of the course can be found here: https://capuk.org/i-want-help/our-services/cap-life-skills/introduction
