We are committed to helping people explore issues of faith in an open, helpful and constructive way. Faith journeys start in different ways for different people, but the journey is always worth taking.
Our activities are open to those who already follow Jesus and to those who have thoughts, questions and issues which they want to investigate. Whether through an already existing group/course or just in beginning to be part of the life of TWCF there are lots of opportunities to share life, share questions, hopes, dreams and fears together. The big issues of life are not too big to be looked at from different angles and we'd be pleased to undertake this with you.
Some of our groups and activities (e.g. Alpha) are set up specifically to address certain issues and to give the space for discussion in a progressive way. Our Getting Started course is a great follow up to Alpha as in it issues relating to living out our faith are explored in a practical way with lots of opportunity for questions and discussion. Our Getting Connected course extends the journey through to looking at TWCF and into the reasons we do what we do. Finally, other groups (e.g. homegroups) give space to talk around a different topic each week and in this way the whole group explores faith together.
Whether it is a cup of coffee after a service, a chat after a game of football, a conversation down the pub or in a meeting, there are plenty of opportunities to discover more about God through the stories people tell. A good place to start is to ask someone about their God story!
