We live with the conviction that God loves people, and that we can radiate his light and love in our local communities as well as in communities around the world through strategic partnerships.
Little Stars South Parent & Toddler Group / Little Stars Parent & Toddler Group
Little Stars South is held for parents, carers and pre-school children on Tuesdays during term time from 10.00 to 12.00am at our South Site
Little Stars is held for parents, carers and pre-school children on Wednesdays during term time from 10.00 to 11.30am at our Central Site
Each group provides an ideal space for the children with activities and space for children to ‘let off steam’ with a range of age appropriate toys and activities. Every week there is a story time or a time of singing with the children including songs with a simple faith basis.
Our aim is to provide a welcoming, safe and supportive environment for adults to relax whilst meeting new people and for children to play and make new friends.
During the session there is plenty of tea, coffee and there is also a snack time for the children.
All our team are Christians, and as they are keen to support children and parents and carers they also include a simple prayer as part of the sessions and are available to pray with people should they request this.
To book into a session, or to find out more, please get in touch with us here.

CAP Life Skills
Life Skills is a friendly group that gives people the confidence and decision making skills they need to survive life on a low income. Over 8 weeks we teach people practical money saving techniques, such as cooking on a budget, living healthily on less, and making your money go further.
Everyone finds dealing with the pressures of life a stressful and lonely challenging at times. That’s why CAP Life Skills is designed to be a fun and relaxed place where you’ll meet other people in similar situations, who understand you and can encourage you. More details of the course can be found here: https://capuk.org/i-want-help/our-services/cap-life-skills/introduction
Recognising that people are individually gifted and inspired, we are keen to bring together people who share interests in particular areas of life and community. As a result we are forming groups that focus in on a specific area of life in our community (e.g. our local neighbourhoods, homelessness).
Whether part of a formal group or not, we believe that our workplaces, homes, schools, and neighbourhoods can become places of transformation as we love and serve these communities.
People from TWCF are involved in serving in many aspects of the local community in addition to their employment, below is a sample of some of these:
- Street Pastors & Prayer Pastors
- Churches Winter Shelter
- Street Teams
- Debt Advice
- Supporting local schools
- Duke of Edinburgh scheme
- Local politics
- Crisis Recovery & Recovery Courses
- Churches For Tunbridge Wells
- Tunbridge Wells Fellowship of Evangelicals
With international partners being supported in at several continents around the world we believe in taking an active role in the world in which we live. From hands on projects which improve people’s lives through the provision of resources and written materials in their own language through to providing clean sustainable drinking water, those we work in partnership with are bringing the values of God’s kingdom to people’s lives in a meaningful and powerful way.
We are currently working in support of the following projects and people around the world:
Albania – Shkendije
We support the ministry of Shkendije (Spark Ministries), working with children in Albania. Based in the capital Tirana, and with projects elsewhere in Albania, we’ve been delighted to be able to send individuals and teams to Albania to work with Shkendije as be part of supporting their ongoing work and ministry. For further information please see the Shkendije wesite here.
Global – World in Need
We support the excellent work of World in Need International, a Christian charity which aspires to see communities transformed by aid and education. World in Need believes that even the poorest communities can find hope and freedom when they are empowered to rise above their circumstances. Working to direct resources to where they are most needed, World in Need now works in twelve countries across Africa, Asia and the Middle East. For more information please see the World in Need website here.
Our partners in India are focused on the work of church planting in a wide range of communities.
Our partners in Burkina Faso are particularly focused on the work of church planting and ongoing training and enterprise development in a wide range of communities. Each of these new churches is designed to be self supporting and to bring blessing and hope to the communities they serve. Many lives are being changed day by day in urban and rural settings.
Our global partners in Pakistan are involved in the translation and distribution of educational literature. Their work has supported communities with resources which they would not otherwise have had access to. Their valuable work in bringing light and hope to people’s lives.
To support the work of any of our missions partners, please go to the giving page of this website here and choose ‘missions’ from the dropdown selection box. All gifts are treated confidentially.
